Lakemont Women's Ministry seeks to glorify God by helping women and girls know the word, follow Christ, and engage the world.

A Place To Belong:
Learning To Love The Local Church

Beginning in February we start a new book study: A Place to Belong: Learning to Love the Local Church by Megan Hill. This readable, engaging author focuses on 9 different aspects of our identity as believers, such as Beloved, Called, Flock, Body, Saints, etc., and points to the beauty and privilege of living out their reality in the local, very ordinary/extraordinary church. This study will shape us to be a vibrant, fruitful community.

Our study is conducive to a range of time commitments so please make sure to sign up or come check our study out.

Group order for $12 (notify your Women’s Leader Team member or Janet Mackert by Jan. 15), or self-order Amazon or Kindle.

Lakemont's Women's Ministry

Lakemont Women's Ministry seeks to glorify God by helping women and girls follow Christ and serve others.
We want to love and build each other up by serving each other, learning together, and pointing each other to Christ through a variety of ways. We pray, show compassion, gather for fun, learn, and share ideas all to give life to each other and the church.
You can find our Women's Ministry leadership team under the church leadership tab.

WHAT  WE  DO

Bible Studies

The women of Lakemont gather to submit ourselves to the word of God and order our lives by it. We love our times together of exploring God's word.
We have many bible studies that you are welcome to check out. Make sure to click the link below to find out more.

Service

We love to come together to help bear one-another's burdens. God has put us in community so that we don't have to go through life alone, whether it's singleness, marriage, parenting, the loss of a spouse, discouragement, or anything else, we are here to love one-another.

You Got To Have Fun

One of the best ways to get to know others is to laugh, therefor we love to get together to laugh and have fun. We gather to play sports, crochet stuffed animals, do crafts, or head out for a night on the town, all in the name of Christ.
You're welcome to join us anytime.
